DNNSkins  - new site

Welcome to DNNSkins.com - a site setup to support the DotNetNuke community with the largest range of free skins available on the internet. DotNetNuke is an open source web application framework which allows users the ability to control the look and feel of their website.

This website consists of a variety of skins for free and for those wanting a little more, commercial skins may also be available for sale.

These skins range from a variety of designers and contributors who have over the last few years, provided their skills and talent in contributing to the open source project we have come to appreciate and use.

The downloads are segmented into specific areas -

• Nina's free skins - that's my contribution to the project
• DNNSkins - original skins from DNN2 days which have been updated & tested
• 3013 Skins - Legacy skins from a previous download no longer online
• Competition Skins - from DNN2 days, tested and updated

XD in front of the skin means that it's been opened, modified, checked and available for preview. Each skin package contains the original package and all credits belong to the original author.

We anticipate that many more skins will be put online, and we hope you visit us on a regular basis and participate in our forums.

Some Tips for using DNNSkins.com

We have used the Catalook shopping cart option in "Gallery' mode, which means you can add to basket just like you were shopping online.

It means you can add a few of the skins to your cart, and then check out - you don't have to download each skin individually, so that's pretty handy to know.

It's also good to know that if we put in some skins to buy, you can add them to the cart as well. Then, you download what you need, come back and pick up other skins as you need them, and we'll be adding some more free skins and a few commercial skins as time progresses. We'll also have some of the free skins created by Nina Meiers with the source code or flash files available for a few dollars, and it's a way that I hope to be able to support the site, so we can continue providing free skins for the DotNetNuke community.

So the simple steps to follow are -

• If you want one skin, then click the 'buy it now' button - it takes you straight to checkout
• If you want more than one, just add to cart and keep adding until you have what you want
• If you want to buy something, you can mix the free and commercial together
• If you want to donate - there is a donate button too
